This is exactly the reason. I first saw this the 21st July 2007. About six hours after I'd read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I loved the whole Snape thing, and have always done that since. But... they took a whole chapter away. And turned it into 21 seconds. 21 seconds! There's not even a Lily in it.
